Throughout the semester I built up my public speaking skills. At the start of the semester I presented about myself, I was extremely nervous and was unprepared. I had never done a formal presentation prior to this, I hated it. I looked down, my hands were shaking, it was not my proudest moment. We did around five presentations after, which boosted my confidence and made the last two much easier. I learned how to publicly speak in a group and also on my own. I learned that you should know your information well enough you shouldn't need your notecards. The presentations when I didn't use notecards I feel I did my best. Also I learned that i should never worry about people judging me because, now at the end of the semester I don't remember any specific moments from presentations. I overall feel I have improved as a public speaker and I feel more confident about the future.

In my presentation for the year 1983 I learned various things about writing, public speaking, and creating a presentation. The research for the project was easy but difficult, there was a lot of information so we had to be selective. I looked up background information on each topic so I had a good understanding to make presenting easier. This project out of all the ones I did, was easier for me, in the presentation point of view, I was able to speak infront of the class easily since I had built up a-lot of knowledge on each topic. Also learned a lot about collaboration. My partner and I made the presentation run smoothly by arranging speaking and lines before the presentation. I personally feel most confident about this presentation above others, and I enjoyed making it too.
